NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular

New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) has been successfully hosting Chinese New Year events for the past four years. The Chinese New Year Spectacular, showcasing Chinese traditional culture and arts, is an important platform for celebrating the Chinese New Year. The shows feature world-class performances of both Chinese and Western traditional artistry and have been highly acclaimed by government dignitaries, corporate executives, community leaders, professionals and academics in a wide range of fields, and many members of the general public.

Phenomenal growth:

·         In 2004, the live audience total reached 10,000. The NTDTV Spectacular shows were performed in New York City, Washington DC, Taipei, Paris and Toronto.

 

·         In 2005, the live audience totaled 13,500 with performances in New York City, Washington DC, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Taipei, Toronto and London.

 

·         In 2006, the Spectacular toured 17 major cities around the globe, including New York City, Washington DC, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Paris, Taipei, Kaohsiung and Seoul with a live audience totaling 46,000.

·         In 2007, NTDTV hosted a total of 82 Spectacular shows in 32 major cities around world, including New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Sydney, Melbourne, Berlin, Paris, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Tokyo and Seoul, with a live audience of over 200,000.

In 2008, during the period of Chinese New Year celebrations, the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular will perform in many major cities across North America. The Divine Performing Arts troupe will showcase authentic traditional Chinese culture with pure compassion and pure beauty, without any elements of communist party culture.
