I hope that members of The Delaware Asian Cultural Center, the Asian community and friends across Delaware enjoy a safe and prosperous New Year. Tonight's Chinese New Year Spectacular will be an enjoyable and meaningful celebration of Chinese heritage and cultural activities.

I am told that 2007 is the Year of the Pig, representing one who is passionate about their loved ones, their occupations and their objectives. Those are wonderful characteristics and are readily apparent in the Asian community and Delaware at large.

Once again, enjoy the show, have a happy New Year and continue the great work you are doing in Delaware.
