On behalf of the government of the Czech Republic, please accept my sincerest wishes for a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year—the Year of the Pig. It is said that those born in the Year of the Pig are chivalrous, have pureness of heart and excellent manners, keep friends for life, work hard, and are very loving and loyal partners. It is my hope that not only Chinese citizens but citizens from all countries of the world will enjoy these virtues in the new year along with peace, prosperity, and happiness.
