The Divine Performing Arts Troupe's New York and Global Tour teams will perform in over 60 cities around the world for the Chinese New Year Spectacular. According to the Divine Performing Arts Troupe, the global tour will reach approximately 650,000 attendees worldwide.

ST. LOUIS, Mo—The Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular made its debut at the Touhill Performing Arts Center at the University of Missouri on April 30.

The Spectacular's portrayal of China's 5,000-year-old traditional culture Chinese touched the hearts of many overseas Chinese.

Peng Mingsheng, an agricultural biologist who immigrated to the US from Nanjing, China, ten years ago, attended the show with his son.

'Amazingly Beautiful' in Cleveland

The Chinese Spectacular premiered in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, May 3rd to an audience of over 2,400 people. Many people were interviewed and asked for their opinions on the show. While their favorite aspects of the show differed from person to person, the general consensus remained the same – The Chinese Spectacular is stunning in every regard.

Professional Dancer: 'They brought in the divine consciousness, the spiritual consciousness'

Edmonton's Jubilee Auditorium welcomed the Spectacular on Monday night and honored the performers with a standing ovation. Lola Bots and Ruth Linecker attended the show together. Bots, who formerly worked in the retail industry, thought it was "absolutely incredible."

Chinese Language Teacher: 'Absolutely spectacular—I feel very proud being Chinese'

Among the audience members, Ms. Lei Yang came to the United States in August 2007, and is a Chinese language teacher at Roosevelt High School in Kent, Ohio."It made Chinese as well as Americans understand the essence of the traditional Chinese culture in a short period of time. Chinese Spectacular is 'most beautiful, unbelievable experience'

"I have grown up watching ballets with my family, mostly women, so they always dragged me to dance shows and ballet shows and I always hated it," Justin Colon said. "But this was by far the most beautiful, unbelievable experience as far as theatrical performances go that I have ever seen."
