Elvis Stojko is one of the most successful and well-known Canadian figure skaters to ever take to the ice. Saturday night, Mr. Stojko was at the John Bassett Theatre in downtown Toronto to watch Divine Performing Arts’ Mid-Autumn Spectacular. “Everything was impressive, each single act had its own energy and character,” he said afterwards.

Honoured Canadian ballet dancer Vanessa Harwood described how dance, such as that in the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular, has the power to withstand oppression. "Dance expresses your culture, so it will never go."

This musical show is a powerful tale of love’s triumph over all roadblocks. From the opening scene where the cast is practically floating on clouds with Angels flying around the stage, you feel that dreams really do come true.

Professor Rajiv Ahuja, a physics professor at Uppsala University, was among the audience for the opening of the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at Stockholm's Circus Theatre on Thursday.

"It was excellent, very good, and this was my first time, and maybe I think I will come back 2 or 3 times more during the coming days," said Ahuja, originally from India.

Ms. Hua is a shop owner in greater Berlin. She attended the Chinese Spectacular matinee performance at Berlin's International Congress Centre and found it very much to her liking. "I loved the show! The performances were truly good! The dance about the mother and child [The Power of Awareness] where everyone offers a helping hand—the one just before the last curtain—touched me the most. It was very impressive."

NEW YORK—The full house at Radio City Music Hall gave a standing ovation to the Chinese New Year Splendor on Saturday, Feb. 9.

It was a fitting conclusion to a 15-show run over 11 days that presented, through dance and music, traditional Chinese culture to a diverse and appreciative audience.
