Australia—NSW State MP, the Hon. Marie Ficarra saw the Chinese Spectacular at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on Thursday April 3.Ms Ficarra commented on the high standard of the show and its positive influence on young Chinese people

The Chinese Spectacular opened to a packed house at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on Wednesday April 2. Present in the audience was actress Katy Manning, best known for her role in the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who. Ms Manning, also a trained dancer, said the dance movements of the Chinese Spectacular told an "incredible story".

Even before the performers of the globally acclaimed NTDTV 2007 Chinese New Year Spectacular set foot onto Australian soil, the Chinese Embassy and consulates have busied themselves trying to discredit the show and gone to considerable lengths to dissuade people from viewing it.
