On behalf of the citizens of Wayne County, I want to congratulate the Oriental Culture Association, its friends and supporters as you celebrate at the 2008 Chinese New Year Spectacular.  Tonight’s celebration will showcase the very best of classical Chinese music and dance and I encourage each of you to reflect upon the spirit of hope and renewal the Lunar New Year brings. 

To the Men and Women who are the performers in the New Tang Dynasty Chinese Spectacular to occur in the City of Detroit this New Year. We look forward to the finest extravaganza, your lunar Year celebration, ever presented, and welcome you with open arms.
